COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease)

COPD is a general term which includes the conditions chronic bronchitis and emphysema. Chronic bronchitis or emphysema can cause obstruction (narrowing) of the airways.

COPD is usually caused by smoking. Symptoms include cough and breathlessness.
